Tayla and Caleb, two locals from the Peninsula - saw the gap in the market for healthy, affordable food that can be grabbed on the go. They wanted to create something new - something where we could make eating healthy easy and delicious, and to challenge concepts of fast food in a modern way. With nutrition and gym backgrounds, they strived towards formulating so-called “salads” that were not only nutritionally balanced and measured, but changed the way people thought about healthy food, leaving them full and satisfied.
Ultimately, Bowl’d aims to bridge the gap between the fast food industry & the real food industry.
After traveling the globe, visiting hundreds of places & eating thousands of bowls (almost!), we knew that we could change the way people saw ‘fast food’ if we could just get it right!
Locally grown, freshly prepared, tech inspired & always happy our team of amazing people believe difference drives change and within change magic happens! But Bowl’d isn’t just a brand, it’s a family, a feeling, a belief in all things good.
And we know that you’ll feel good after you’ve eaten with us.
The man with the vision that created what you see today. You’ll often find him at the coffee window chewing someone’s ear off, making friends or as he likes to call it - ‘networking’. He does not have a Bowl’d favourite, as he likes to eat his way through our entire menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the daily.
With a passion for innovation and the drive to make healthy, delicious food accessible to anyone and everyone! Cabs adopted each and every one of us into the Bowl’d family and is always encouraging us to be the best we can possibly be. We would like to give you a HUGE thank you for the opportunities you’ve created, and for believing in each and everyone of us.
We, and Bowl’d, wouldn’t be who and what we are today without you Cabby.
Nick has quickly become apart of the furniture and we wouldn't have it any other way!
He comes with a background specialty in coffee but has soon become a Bowl'd allrounder.
Enjoys a little (a lot) of Frank Ocean and sneaking off to the book
store on his lunch break with his Bowl'd favourite (Espress Yo’ self) in hand.
Be sure to say hi and introduce yourself next visit.
